Once Were Ghosts is an experience of the human emotional machine. In the ambiance and echoes there comes a feeling of loneliness, a feeling that one is alone, yet surrounded. Sometimes the surroundings float about and coexist, other times they bombard and suffocate. We can be accompanied, loved even, but at the end of it all, we are a single shadow.
